Once upon a time, for a few short weeks, my blog actually looked finished and complete. I liked it. That beautiful minima stretch template that was fluid width and took up the whole screen. Oh how I miss you. Then blogger decided to come out with the new template designer....goodbye to my minima stretch page. And, since I'm an idiot when it comes to technology, especially anything to do with the Internet....I can't get it back. So any of you who actually read my blog regularly (thank you Nila, Shari, and Jessie!), you'll notice it keeps changing faces. I'm trying to mess around with it and find something I really like now. I really want the stretch, full screen back.....anybody know how to help me?
And until I find a new layout that I really like, my blog might appear different every time you look at it. Sorry. But hang in there with me. I'm also starting a new blog to go along with my new, almost up and running business website. But that has lots of work before I get any posts going. And finally, I'll likely be adding a few new pages to this blog...including a page of my traditional handmade books for sale.
Oh, and I should probably recognize that today is the 4th of July! Happy Independence Day America! Sometimes I have a feeling that we might end up having two independence days like they do in Lithuania...and that worries me a bit. However, today I am sincerely grateful for this grand country I call home, for the freedoms I enjoy, and for glamorous life I live - all because of thousands of courageous men and women who took on the challenge to change their lives and the history of the world as they knew it.
Frankly, I don't much care about the layout - it's the thoughts I'm most interested in anyway. But make yourself happy and experiment with all the technology until you get the look that makes you happy. But don't keep so busy fussing with layouts that you don't have time to write:)
